Popular Ghanaian actor, Clement Bonney seems to know the political
destiny of NPP’s flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo – as he as
predicted that the renowned politician will never achieve his
presidential dream.
Known to be a campaigner for President John Dramni Mahama, “Mr Beautiful” as called in showbiz was emphatic that Nana Addo has no chance of winning the upcoming election which will be his third attempt.
Asked by host of NEAT FM’s morning show Ghana Montie if Nana Addo can win the November 7 election – Mr Beautiful hurriedly responded – “No no no no no, he [Nana Addo] is not fit to be president”
“I have nothing against him [Nana Addo] but he can’t be president. I only see one president in Ghana which is President Mahama. He is next to Dr. Kwame Nkrumah,” he told Kwasi Aboagye.
Explaining his professed love for President Mahama – Mr Beautiful said he was drawn to the NDC because of the vision and policies for the arts and entertainment industry, and does not regret campaigning for the ruling party since he is a direct beneficiary of the policies being implemented by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts.
Mr Beautiful’s comment adds up to colleague actor John Dumelo’s earlier debatable assertions that the NPP Flagbearer has no chance of winning the 2016 polls.
