Online shopping is on the rise and Ghanaians are catching up. The
most popular eCommerce website is eBay undoubtedly but Ghanaians are
faced with a harsh reality of shopping online on eBay. I would like to
share with you my tutorials on how to buy from eBay in Ghana.
Before you try to shop online, you must get a card that can be used for online shopping. The card can either be Visa or MasterCard. In Ghana, you can get a card for online shopping from UBA Bank, Access Bank, GT Bank and Zenith Bank. The other banks do give but these are the ones I recommend.
You can also get a MasterCard from payoneer (recommended) and through affiliate marketing on freelancing online, you get paid on to your card. I prefer the payoneer MasterCard because, you can use it to shop directly on any paypal or international online shopping site. I will share more when we get into details

There are 2 ways to successfully shop online at eBay.com
- Work as an affiliate marketer or a freelancer online and get paid on to your payoneer mastercard
- Go to eBay.com and shop for the products you want
- When asked for billing address, give them your Name + the US address provided to you by MyUS.com
- When asked for your shipping address, give them your MyUs.com address
- Place your order
- Once order is successful, you would be given a tracking id to check the progress of your order
- When MyUS.com gets your order, they will forward it to your Ghana address on your account.
- With your card in Ghana
- Go to your MyUS.com account
- Select Personal Shopper
- Give them the details of the stuffs you want to buy online
- Pay them using your card you got from a bank in Ghana
- They will do the shopping for you
- Once order is received, they will ship it to you in Ghana
- You need to use Personal Shopper in this second method because eBay wouldn’t accept cards with the billing address as Ghana. If you change the billing address to the MyUS.com address, the payment would be declined.
